Broodmares

Broodmares make up approximately 65% of the portfolio, by value. The success of Breeding Capital 2008 will be significantly influenced by the broodmares acquired, as they are the major drivers of revenue, both in terms of the sale value of their offspring, and the eventual sale of the broodmares.

The portfolio is summarised below. By clicking on each horse, you can read about the rationale for buying the horse, study the pedigree, look at the photographs, and keep abreast of their development and plans.

Dress Uniform was acquired at Keeneland Sales in the autumn of 2008.

Crystal Reef and Noelani were both purchased at the 2008 Tattersalls December Sales.

The three Australasian mares were purchased privately in the summer of 2009.

L'Ile Aux Loups and Prima Luce were secured at the 2009 Tattersalls December Sales, and Thinking Positive was acquired at the same sale in 2010, where we sold Sanwa and Critical Acclaim. January 2011

Dress Uniform and Prima Luce were sold at the 2011 Tattersalls December Sales. December 2011

Mimi Lebrock was sold at the 2012 Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale. April 2012
