Asset History

We paid 130,000 guineas for Critical Acclaim, a winning three year old filly by Peintre Celebre. Trained by John Gosden, she won one of her two starts, and is a middle distance type. Her mother, High Praise, is a young mare, who was a Group Two and Group Three winner. Critical Acclaim was her first foal, and her second foal, by Sadler's Wells, is the winner and Listed placed Sight Unseen. She also has a Galileo colt, who is now a two year old and will enter training with Sir Michael Stoute. Her second dam, Stellaria, was a Listed winner, who is the dam of eight winners, including champion miler, Observatory. As an individual, Critical Acclaim is a good, strong mare.

In 2010, she foaled a colt by Duke of Marmalade, who very sadly died. She returned to the Duke and is in foal.

Critical Acclaim was sold to Amanda Skiffington for 125,000 guineas in November 2010.
