Bay Colt ex Banc de Fortune

This colt is a full brother to the Banc de Fortune yearling, who was offered for sale at the Easter sales in April 2011 in Sydney. Both are by Fastnet Rock, who is having an outstanding time in Australia, both on the track and in the sales ring. Interestingly, he shuttled to Ireland in Spring 2011. The colt is extremely well bred and is a close relation to Faint Perfume, who is by Shamardal out of Banc de Fortune's less gifted sister, Zona. Faint Perfume has recently been crowned champion filly in Australia, and is one of the leading fancies for the Melbourne Cup. Banc de Fortune is now in foal to the Australian champion Redoute's Choice.
